A tow truck is designed to hook-up your vehicle, boat, or trailer and haul it to an auto repair shop to fix whatever is wrong. If you need the help of a tow truck, it probably means you are not going to be getting to where you were headed.
Here are some reasons you might need to call a tow truck:
Motor vehicle accident. If you are involved in a car accident, you or someone on the scene will need to call for a tow truck immediately. Once the accident has been assessed by the responding police or highway patrol officer and they have enough to write an accident report, the cars involved in the accident need to be moved off of the road to allow traffic to continue moving. After tending to anyone who had been injured, clearing the scene is the most important thing
Your car has broken down. Your car is a complex piece of machinery and any number of things can go wrong with it. Whether it’s a transmission issue or your engine overheats, you could find yourself stranded on the side of the road with a car that is not going to get you anywhere. Depending on where you are and what time of day it is, this could be extremely dangerous.
You’ve run out of gas. Sometimes you think you can get to the gas station and your car tells you otherwise, or you’re not familiar with where you are and the nearest gas station is miles away. For whatever reason, we’ve all run out of gas at least once. When walking to a gas station isn’t an option, you can contact a tow truck for help.
You have a flat tire. Flat tires can be scary if the tire blows while you are driving, and they can be a real hassle when it comes time to change. If you find yourself with a flat tire, you can call a tow truck to come and help change it for the spare
Getting out of your routine and on the road for some R&R in the spring sunshine can be fantastic. Don’t let a breakdown with your automobile put a damper on your plans. Rest assured that you’ve got back up and don’t hesitate to call for a tow if you need it!
